- This Saturday is ServeFest 2010. There is still time to sign up!!!!! ServeFest will begin at 9:00 at various locations throughout Harford County. Ensure you wear your ServeFest T-shirt to this event. T-shirts can be purchased for $5.00. The ServeFest Tailgate Party will be held from 2:00-5:30 Saturday afternoon at the Mountain Christian Church. Hot dogs, baked beans, chips, pasta salad, and water provided. All are encouraged to bring a side dish and lawn chairs. There will be live music and activities for the entire family. For more information, contact Sis Bunny at (410) 570-6929.

- All ladies and young ladies are invited to join us for the Harford County Women’s Conference that will be held on 1 May, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, at Aberdeen Middle School. Registration fee is $20.00. - Aberdeen Proving Ground Gospel Service 20th Anniversary Celebration and Gospel Concert will be held on Saturday, 27 March at 4:30 pm. The Bread of Life Church Praise and Worship Ministry will be participating in the concert. Please mark your calendar to join us as we worship through song, singing praises unto our Lord.

- Kingdom Kids will be going on a roller skating trip to the Baltimore Skate Land on Saturday, March 27 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Drop off is at Bread of Life with departure no later than 12:10 p.m. Please ensure that kids wear their BOL t-shirts and have at least $3-5 for snacks and games. Adult drivers are needed to assist in providing transportation for 10-15 kids. 2-3 chaperones (teens and/or adults) are also needed. All Sunday Activities Cancelled Today

Blessings Bread of Life,

All of you are in my prayers. Due to the record snow storm, all activities
have been cancelled today. This includes our Super Bowl Fellowship scheduled
for 5:00 p.m.

I do believe God's hand is at work in all of this. It is important that we
use the time the Lord has given us wisely.
Here are some timeless nuggets that the Word of God shares with us today.

1. Reestablish Family values
Psalms 127:1a (HCSB)
Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain;
Let the Lord be Lord of your home.
God created the family first
What is God's plan for your family?
Have they been communicated?
2 . Renew a commitment to family prayer
Ephesians 6:18 (HCSB)
With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay
alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
Commit to pray with each other and for each other. A family that prays
together stays together.
3. Reconcile broken or strained relationships
Ephesians 4:3 (NIV)
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of
peace.
Ephesians 4:32 (HCSB) and be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Bring healing to relationships. Understanding is more important that
winning. Take the initiative!!!!
4. Rejoice in the Lord together

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord!

The Big Game!!!

Well, it's that time of year again... the Big Game! At Bread of Life Church, we view this time as a tremendous time of outreach to our Community, and we want you to be part of it.

As the 2 best football teams come together to go head to head on the field, we will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall to watch the game together, as well as have a great time of fellowship with more food than you can imagine.

We are asking everyone to bring some kind of food with them, however, even if you are unable to bring a food item, PLEASE come anyway!

We will start at 5:00 PM, and will continue through to the end of the game.

Good Morning Bread of Life,

John 3:16 gives us the message of Christmas. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

While this verse is often overlooked as being a "Christmas verse" we can easily see the loving, giving heart of the Father in that he gave His only begotten Son.

God the Father set the example of giving, and it was carried on through the life of Christ while He lived here on this earth. Jesus said in John 14:9b ...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? This spirit of giving originated with the Father and radiated through the Son, and in turn Jesus commands us to do the same in John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

This love is not based on feelings or emotions, otherwise Jesus would not have been able to "command" us to love. He is talking about the kind of love He had when He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, "not my will, but thine be done". He is talking about each one of us doing our part in love regardless of what we "feel" like at any given moment.

This is the kind of love that will visit a nursing home and hold the hand of one who is discouraged. This is the kind of love that will cry with another who cries, and rejoice with another who rejoices. This is the kind of love that will look "beyond faults" and see the need.

I encourage you at this wonderful time of year to appreciate our giving God once again, and to minister to the "one anothers" all around us.

Bread of Life Angel Tree/Holiday Giving Program

Good Morning Saints,

Our Bread of Life Family has a unique opportunity to share the love of Christ with others who are in need by sponsoring two families this holiday season through the Angel Tree/Holiday Giving Program. This past year has been a trying one for many. As Pastor has often stated, we all go through different seasons: seasons of not enough, just enough, and more than enough. If you are in a season in which you can be a blessing to someone less fortunate than you are, I ask that you join us in our effort to minister through giving to members within the community who are in need this holiday season. The deadline for donations is Sunday, 20 December. I understand that the request is short notice and it will require a sacrifice on our part; but I believe in my heart that the Lord will honor the sacrifice made. I ask that you seek the Lord as to how He would have you to share.

I will have angels available on Wednesday after bible study. I ask that gifts are wrapped and the angel you choose is attached to the gift. Your donations are not limited only to the suggestions or "wish list" provided by the families.

Household/personal hygiene items should be placed in a box that will be located in the fellowship hall.

Warm Christmas Greetings to you and your family!

The greatest announcement the world has ever received is found in Luke 2:10-12: “But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. [11] Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. [12] This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

During this most wonderful time of the year, we as Christians are not only receivers of this announcement; we are also to share the good news by announcing to a lost world that Jesus Christ has come to give them life more abundantly. This "announcement" is often communicated through the way we live our lives in front of our fellow co-workers, friends, and family members. While they will often not read a Bible placed in front of them, we must realize that our lives are often the "Bible" that people are reading and the "announcement" they are listening to.

Below, you will find information for an event of the Christmas Season here at Bread of Life Church. You are encouraged to attend, as well as invite your friends and family to visit the church with you.
