- This Saturday is ServeFest 2010. There is still time to sign up!!!!! ServeFest will begin at 9:00 at various locations throughout Harford County. Ensure you wear your ServeFest T-shirt to this event. T-shirts can be purchased for $5.00. The ServeFest Tailgate Party will be held from 2:00-5:30 Saturday afternoon at the Mountain Christian Church. Hot dogs, baked beans, chips, pasta salad, and water provided. - All ladies and young ladies are invited to join us for the Harford County Women’s Conference that will be held on 1 May, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, at Aberdeen Middle School. Registration fee is $20.00. - Kingdom Kids will be going on a roller skating trip to the Baltimore Skate Land on Saturday, March 27 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Drop off is at Bread of Life with departure no later than 12:10 p.m. Please ensure that kids wear their BOL t-shirts and have at least $3-5 for snacks and games. Adult drivers are needed to assist in providing transportation for 10-15 kids. 2-3 chaperones (teens and/or adults) are also needed. All Sunday Activities Cancelled Today

Blessings Bread of Life,

All of you are in my prayers. Due to the record snow storm, all activities
have been cancelled today. This includes our Super Bowl Fellowship scheduled
for 5:00 p.m.

I do believe God's hand is at work in all of this. It is important that we
use the time the Lord has given us wisely.
Here are some timeless nuggets that the Word of God shares with us today.

1. Reestablish Family values
Psalms 127:1a (HCSB)
Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain;
Let the Lord be Lord of your home.
God created the family first
What is God's plan for your family?
Have they been communicated?
2 . Renew a commitment to family prayer
Ephesians 6:18 (HCSB)
With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay
alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
Commit to pray with each other and for each other. A family that prays
together stays together.
3. Reconcile broken or strained relationships
Ephesians 4:3 (NIV)
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of
peace.
Ephesians 4:32 (HCSB) and be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Bring healing to relationships. Understanding is more important that
winning. Take the initiative!!!!
4. Rejoice in the Lord together

The Big Game!!!

Well, it's that time of year again... the Big Game! At Bread of Life Church, we view this time as a tremendous time of outreach to our Community, and we want you to be part of it.

As the 2 best football teams come together to go head to head on the field, we will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall to watch the game together, as well as have a great time of fellowship with more food than you can imagine.

We are asking everyone to bring some kind of food with them, however, even if you are unable to bring a food item, PLEASE come anyway!

We will start at 5:00 PM, and will continue through to the end of the game.

For every patron that eats at Applebees in Aberdeen and presents the flyer below to his/her server ICO will receive 10% back! Dine anytime on Monday, Janurary 18th. Funds are being raised for our Trinise Jones Summer Day Camp-a camp serving over 100 at-risk youths from our community.

Always and Forever Valentine’s Banquet,Sunday, February 14, 5:00 pm. This formal affair will be held at the Richlin Ballroom in Edgewood, Maryland. The cost is $60.00 per couple/ $30.00 for singles wishing to attend. Childcare will be provided at Bread of Life Church starting at 4:30 for children 0 to 10 years old. - Kingdom Kids Bowling Outing – God’s Finest will be letting their little lights shine as they participate in a bowling/fun day on Saturday, 30 January at 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to interact and fellowship with one another outside of bible study and worship service. Parents are asked to complete the parental consent form and return to Bro Conner by January 27. Additional information will be posted on the bulletin board.

What an awesome time we had in the house of the Lord on the last day of 2009 and the first day of 2010, as we ushered in a new year. I could not think of any place I would have rather been. We were equipped with everything we need for 2010 as we put 2009 behind us and embrace "All Things New."
